Kushtown Chemdawg Cherry Soda Edible Review

Kushtown Chemdawg Cherry Soda Edible Review

During the recent heat wave, I was dying for some cool refreshment to offer even a moment’s reprieve from sweltering sun.  Enter Kushtown Soda’s ChemDawg Cherry Soda.  To me, when my shirt starts sticking and the sweat beads up, nothing beats an ice cold soda.  Add to this 52 mg of THC, and you have the perfect replacement for beer in the cooler at your next summer picnic.

When I was digging through the cooler at the Clinic trying to decide on a flavor, ChemDawg Cherry Soda leaped out at me.  I’ve had ChemDawg as a flower in the past, and absolutely loved it.  Is ChemDawg the strain used to make this particular flavor?  Or just a clever reference to a popular strain, allowing for some alliteration in the name?  Regardless, it was the cherry that sealed the deal.

When poured out into a glass, it was clearly a cola with the slightest hint of cherry.  Not too sweet or overpowering, some patients may even find it less than flavorful.  There is a bitter cannabis follow in the aftertaste.  Our sample was kept cold and served over ice, and we found that it is most enjoyable the colder you can get it.

The ingredients list is simple: THC oil, high fructose corn syrup, carbonated water, natural flavors.  Nothing more than you’d find in any craft soda.  The label has a lot of 1000x and 2000x indicators but isn’t real clear of what times what.  In more practical terms, it has 52 mg of THC as a measurable indicator of potency.  It also has 28 grams of sugar, so those watching their intake, be aware.

The high starts off euphoric and fun.  As it peaks, there is a noticeable body buzz, and it became drowsy.  It was a clear headed high, which makes it just as appropriate during the week as at a weekend event.    If you can manage to remain motivated, it is a nicely enabling medication that will keep you going happily along as it relieves your symptoms.
