Kush Caps from Kush Extracts Review

Kush Caps from Kush Extracts Review

I always get a bit giddy when the cannabis festivals roll into Southern California, knowing it will be an opportunity to check out new and developing companies in the industry.  While wandering around the Kush Cup presented by Hempcon up in San Bernardino this past October, I came across the booth of Kush Extracts based right here in Orange County.  After chatting with the guys for a bit and trying some of their gorgeous shatters, I departed with a smile on my face and a fistful of their Kush Caps to review for the site.  I couldn’t wait to get home and give these shatter caps a try.

Now, I’m a huge proponent of edibles.  First for their discretion, as well as for their taste.  However, sometimes I just don’t want to eat my medicine, even if it is just a concentrated taffy or hard candy.  For others, edibles may not be an option due to their dietary restrictions.   That’s where these Kush Caps begin to make perfect pragmatic sense.  Talk about convenience.  Their small size makes them both portable and discreet.  I kept a small pill bottle filled with Kush Caps in my briefcase through the whole review process, using them when needed.  They were no more burdensome to carry or medicate with than a multivitamin.

Each shatter cap offers 50 mg of THC and another 6 mg of CBD in this indica leaning OG hybrid.  I found the come on and the build to peak to both be much faster with the Kush Caps than in traditional edibles.  The mellow, carefree OG high is also comfortable in the limbs, making these caps wonderful for mild to moderate pain relief, such as experienced after a long day on the job.  There is also some sedation from the CBD numbers, useful for anxiety or PTSD, but not enough to cause lock or to cure insomnia, which is good if you need to stay on the go.  Overall, Kush Extracts’ Kush Caps are an advantageous substitute for the everyday edible, increasing consistency and easing the effort of daily medicating.
