530 Edibles Campfire Bar Review

530 Edibles Campfire Bar Review

A favorite creation of the owner of 530 Edibles, their Campfire Bar is sure to become a favorite of yours as well.  When sitting around the campfire after a long day hiking, a dessert like the Campfire Bar is just what is needed before crawling into your tent for the night.  It is filling enough to replenish your energy reserves after a day out surrounded by the towering California trees and physically comforting when sitting in your belly.  But treats this tasty don’t need to be saved for the great outdoors.  This edible pairs equally well with most any setting.  I enjoyed ours as a midday munchie to recharge my batteries for the final push through work.

Everything about this edible recalls a classic s’more in its flavor combination.  There is less chocolate than a traditional s’more, but the added crushed vanilla wafers are a sweet and hearty twist.  Be sure to keep your Campfire Bar in the fridge to keep it fresh.  After a weekend in the trunk of the car after Cannabis Cup, ours was getting stiff.  However, I microwaved it for literally just a moment to loosen it up, and the marshmallow became gooey and messy and perfect — like any self-respecting fireside snack.

I sampled the 70 mg version of 530 Edibles’ Campfire Bar for our review, which I ate in a single sitting.  It also comes in a 210 mg version.  Besides being filling enough to share, the potency of both strengths is enough to split into multiple doses.  There is a very sociable opening to the high, typical of 530 Edibles’ products, that is great for chatting around the fire.  However, just as the last of the logs are thrown on, it becomes more thoughtful and sedative and the pain relief is more noticeable.  By the time everyone is turning in, the stars will draw you off to a space all your own.
