Raspberry Cough from Turn and Cough Extracts Review

With as much attention as Strawberry Cough has been getting on the menus in SoCal in the last few years, it is refreshing to see the even more heady high of Raspberry Cough come through the area.  Representative of the strain, this mid-level extraction from Turn and Cough extracts was put to work during a hectic day in the office and carried the burden without dropping us into dab-naps midway through the afternoon.

Raspberry Cough is a mostly sativa hybrid of a Cambodian landrace mother and a male of the Ice strain, an indica dominant cross that medalled at the ‘98 Cannabis Cup.  Though the flavor was not determinately raspberry, there was a certain over-ripe berry that lingered after each dab.  The drier consistency of this honeycomb worked equally well in both my vape pen and off the domeless nail.  Although not as visually stunning as say a shatter, it was incredibly easy to work with, which carries its own merits.

With such a sativa lean, I expected a crippling head rush.  Instead, I found quite the productive high, but even at low doses, it is almost a cerebral overload, which some users may find uncomfortable.  I can see this being a tweaky, paranoia filled high in large doses.  But overall, Raspberry Cough offers a clear-headed strain, perfect for during the work-week.
