Fruity Pebbles from PSA Review

Fruity Pebbles from PSA Review

Growing up, when I didn’t want to eat what was being served to our family, my mother always had the same response: “I only cook once.  Don’t like it?  Eat some cereal.”  And so I did.  Meal after meal, chances were high I’d be gnoshing on some Cheerios, Frankenberry, or Apple Jacks.  All these years later, little has changed, and bowls of fruity cereal still make up a significant portion of my diet.  So to be finally getting my hands on Fruity Pebbles from PSA, a strain I’ve coveted for some time, is more than satisfying.

Although Fruity Pebbles is generally accepted as exhibiting a vague set of genetics, the Alien Genetics version uses a breeding of Green Ribbon x GDP and Tahoe OG x Alien Kush for their Fruity Pebbles OG, giving us a reliable starting point.  The sight of these frosty, multi-hued buds from PSA alone is enough to earn their namesake, rich with purple and green and orange.  Add in the fruity scent and flavor, and you have one uniquely distinct strain. Defined by heapings of the ripe dark berry Purp-Terp flavor, Fruity Pebbles has a fruit smoothie like taste in the green hit.

Thanks to the variety of heavy indicas in play here, Fruity Pebbles is characterized by loads of body relaxation, marked by an easiness in the shoulders.  Chronic pain is also diminished as muscles and joints are lulled into relief.  A touch drowsy after the peak, Fruity Pebbles would make do for mild bouts of insomnia.  It isn’t all about the body relief, though.  Pain relief is accompanied by a subtle mood elevation, without the cerebral rush, helping chronic patients battle through the day.
