9 Pound Hammer from Royal Trees Collective Review

9 Pound Hammer from Royal Trees Collective Review

This review marks the first appearance of Orange County delivery service Royal Trees Collective on the OC Weed Review, but with results like this, it certainly won’t be the last.  Purveyors of top notch genetics, Royal Trees Collective brings us a winner in this 9 Pound Hammer.  Yet another brilliant TGA Genetics creation, it is a hybrid of GooBerry (Afgoo x Blueberry) and Jesus OG (Hells OG x Jack the Ripper), pulling from some of the best of TGA’s stock for one unforgettable strain.

9 Pound Hammer’s conical buds are little Christmas trees, light green in hue and laden with burnt umber hairs.  There is also more than a frosting of creamy white crystals, giving these trees a bit of snowy holiday cheer.  The scent is equally bright and uplifting.  Hints of white grape, candied lime, and even juicy melon make 9 Pound Hammer undeniably sweet in its own uniquely fruity way.  It has been quite some time since I last smoked flower, and this was a great welcoming of me back into the fold.

Although a sativa man myself, I can still appreciate a great indica.  And this hybrid falls indica dominant with the Gooberry taking charge of the strain’s personality.  The full bodied spectrum of the high is effective for chronic pain and stress, both of which I have been feeling in spades lately, focused mainly in the back and shoulders from hunching over a computer.  Thankfully, there is no need to save 9 Pound Hammer for sundown like other, heavier indicas.  Lively enough to use all day long, the sedation is mild and rests mostly head, creating stoney thinking and distracting nicely from the anxieties of life.
