Of all the edible samples we received from 530 Edibles, these tins of hard candy were by far the most pragmatic. And we will miss them dearly when we finish them. We kept them handy around the office, and one tin was in my computer bag at all times. It was comforting to know that relief was within reach when I needed it on the go.
530 Edibles’ provided us with two flavors, Sour Punch and Cinna-Melon, though they also offer Tropical Chili Lime, Blackberry Lime Cheesecake, Orange Creme, and a creation called Root Beer Bloat that I just have to try. The popular consensus among the Review was that everyone loved the Cinna-Melon’s sharp spice since it was complemented by the juicy sweet fruit of the melon flavor. And it seemed that the Cinna-Melon disappeared first.
However, my favorite of the two was the Sour Punch. Although not typically a fan of sour candies, the absolutely true to taste fruit punch flavor reminded me of so many cups of bug juice enjoyed during summer camp. It was so perfect in fact that it was almost inconceivable to my mind that I wasn’t 10 again. And I desperately wanted a paper cup full of juice that would coat my lips and stain them red. Every one of the Sour Punch candies for me was a tiny, ebullient flashback.
The definition of discrete, medicating with these edibles is incredibly easy and inconspicuous. At just under 10 mg of THC per piece, 530 Edibles’ hard candies were perfect for our low dose tester, and I’d recommend them for anyone just getting started with medical cannabis. Those of us with more tolerance will find them useful for minor medicating or for maintaining an existing high when smoking or even vaping is not an option. Regardless of your needed potency, you will find a place for these candies in your medicating routine.
