Sprig THC Infused Soda Review

Sprig THC Infused Soda Review

Sprig, a new low dose, THC infused soda masterminded in our own backyard, is challenging the way we’ve been thinking about edibles here in Orange County.  While other edible manufacturers race to achieve ever higher cannabinoid numbers, often at the expense of taste and experience, Sprig embraces a more reasonable potency.  Beyond looking to corner both the casual and beginner user demographics, Sprig is a tasty complement to any patient’s medication routine.

Sprig’s clean, sharp packaging, including mirrored finish and a pleasing play of color, matches that of most commercial sodas, showing the oncoming maturity of our industry.  At a recent conference in LA, one of the hotel staff marveled at a four pack I was checking in with me.  Thinking it was a new small batch craft soda brand, she was amazed upon learning it was infused with THC.  Along this vein of normalization, Sprig includes nutritional information and an ingredients list in their packaging, as any commercial beverage would.

You can grab Sprig individually by the can or as a convenient four pack to bring with you to parties and dinners.  Made with cane sugar, and with a light citrus flavor, it paired well with most food and was delicious enjoyed by itself.  At 15 mg, Sprig falls into the lower range of potency, perfect for those new to edibles.  Although I know many a patient who will be happy to have an edible that they can consume in one serving, more experienced users will find a reason to love this low potency potable as well.

A sterling choice for casually medicating through the day, as an accent to your normal medicating routine, or even just as a low dose beverage with dinner, Sprig fits any moment previously filled with a Coke.  Or a beer.  Sprig could be the safer alternative to alcohol at your next party, cookout, or tailgate.  Don’t just serve them over ice, though: we had fun making “Sprig punches” by adding a scoop of rainbow sherbert to a frosty mug of Sprig for a twist on the traditional ice cream float.
