Dark Chocolate Mint 710 Bar Edible Review

Dark Chocolate Mint 710 Bar Edible Review

There is no shortage of medicated chocolate bars on the market today: probably because of the insane margin to be made.  But how does a company separate itself from the pack?  Some choose to go the high potency route, loading as many as 800 mg into a bar of chocolate.  Others go craft, making delicious confections that often come with a hefty price tag for the consumer.  The 710 Bar, given to us for review by the Royal Trees Collective, goes for both, ambitiously finding a way to include a pleasing taste into a 400 mg bar.

The 710 Bar is made with honey oil to achieve high potency without affecting taste, while organic coconut oil is used to bind the cannabinoids, assisting in absorption.  Any trace of cannabis taste is covered with the peppermint oil used for flavor.  The dark chocolate perfectly complements the cool peppermint, and the texture is creamy, almost buttery, similar to a minty hershey’s kiss.  The effect is a very natural tasting mint chocolate that stands above the typical medicated bar.

The packaging indicates a serving size to be the full bar.  At 400 mg, that is probably too much potency for most users.  However, a little math determines that each segment has 66.666 mg of THC.  This places it in a much more manageable category and a single segment dose is pretty comfortable for a moderate user like myself.

One of those powerful, red-eyed highs, the 710 Bar will have you in a comfortable haze about an hour after consumption.  Hold the chocolate in your mouth longer to promote sublingual uptake and faster effect onset.  Excellent for unwinding from a stressful day or to treat minor to moderate aches and pains, the 710 Bar provides a body melting high and accompanying mental disconnect that acts to soothe away a day’s worth of wear.
