Strain of the Week: July 19, 2015 (Cherry Pie)

Cherry Pie Strain Review

As more and more states consider legalization for either medical or recreational purposes, soon cannabis will be as American as, well… Cherry Pie.  And with up to $10 billion in annual revenue up for grabs, it is little wonder that strains like this week’s Cherry Pie will be driving the new American cash crop.

Expect a tart, cherry-berry flavor accented with a bit of sweet warm spice and rich woodiness in this week’s strain.  A hybrid of GDP (indica) and Durban Poison (sativa), Cherry Pie is a balanced, full effect strain that is capable of taking over all your medicating needs.  Predominantly leaving you happy and relaxed, Cherry Pie is great for depression and anxiety.  However, the physical relief from the GDP in its genetics means that moderate pain relief can be achieved without the narcotic slow-down you get from prescription pills.  Effective for overcoming chronic aches with enough mood elevation to make living with pain more bearable, Cherry Pie has become our go to strain for daytime relief.
