Ghost Train Haze from Royal Trees Collective Review

Ghost Train Haze

We have quickly become personal fans of the Royal Trees Collective, a delivery service here in Orange County, and a big reason for that is their reliable lineup of top notch designer strains.  That list includes Ghost Train Haze, a Rare Dankness brainchild and the focus of this review.  Ghost Train Haze is a carefully bred hybrid of Ghost OG and Neville’s Wreck, itself a hybrid of Trainwreck and Neville’s Haze.

Our sample was a sturdy collection of long, banana like buds, both large and small.  Very typical of sativas in its structure, Ghost Train Haze is long and loose and patently sticky, with a pale green hue and frosty appearance.  The golden nugget out of my sample was the size of a finger and gave off a skunky sweet citrus scent when cracked.  The flavor in the green hit adds to this sour citrus a distinct floral and muted pine taste for a delightfully herbal smoke.

Sativa dominant, Ghost Train Haze is an energetic way to start your day.  Especially effective for depression, it carries with it a motivation to get out and “do”.  It is also psychedelically cerebral and thus great for creativity because it is sharply sensual and engaging.  Ghost Train Haze, like most potent Haze strains, is best saved for experienced sativa users who are used to these heightened effects.  The OG presence is minor and does little to lessen the anxiety new users might feel.  The physical influence manifests as a comforting buzz that isn’t overwhelming.

Ghost Train Haze worked into my day to enhance those first few creative hours after waking when I was inclined to create and plan.  As the day wore on, it helped again as a jolt in the lulling afternoon to get me through until I could transfer to a stonier indica to end my day.
