Strain of the Week: June 21, 2015 (Headband)

This week’s featured strain, Headband, is a blending of a pair of popular East and West Coast influences — like Biggie and Tupac, but with less violence.  Headband incorporates New York’s sativa dominant Sour Diesel, and California’s OG Kush, with its mellow relaxation, for a complete strain that never fails to impress.

Headband’s flavor profile blends an earthy wood and skunky fuel, while a high Limonene terpene content lends an acidic citrus scent.  Users  of Headband often report a weighty effect across the head and shoulders, with a predominantly heady cerebral effect.  I would best describe it as purposeful relaxation.  And despite fits of daydreaming, Headband’s combination of mental disconnection and physical mitigation means that it is the perfect high for all psychosomatic symptoms, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
